Unit 5 - Images and Graphics for the Web.
Finally, we get to add some Images and Graphics to our websites. There are many things you can do with graphics. They can be backgrounds, banners, borders, and even put in for the bullets on your unordered lists.
Objectives
- Describe the characteristics and appropriate uses for .GIF, .JPG, and .PNG
- Be able to optimize a photo for the web
- Create a hyperlink using an image
- Configure a background image using CSS
- Configure a Favorites icon.

- Chapter 6 from text book
Assignment
- Read Chapter 6 in the textbook. Follow along and complete the hands on exercises as you go.
- You will turn in two items.
- Your Hands on Exercises you do for (6.1 - 6.7) Chapter 6. You only turn in the final one (hands on exercise 6.7) as they are cumulative.
- You will turn in the Pacific Trails Case Study from page 148.
