Module 1: Orientation: Canvas and Syllabus Quiz

This assignment consists of two parts: 1. a post to the discussion board and 2. a short multiple-choice quiz that tests your understanding of Canvas, the course requirements, and where to find study materials and resources.

You will earn a 5% credit simply for completing this assignment. You will be able to see the correct answers to your quiz after submitting the quiz.

As part of your first review assignment, you get to practice how to use the discussion board and how to post images to Canvas. 

Go to the Orientation: Introduction of Course Members thread on the discussion board and introduce yourself by naming your favorite work of art or artist and explaining briefly what you like about his/her work.  Include an image so that we know what you are talking about. You will find a post from me there already.

• To write your answer, click the Reply button and type into the box that opens. 
• To add an image to a Canvas assignment, you will have to embed the image. First copy the URL of the image you want to include (find an image online, right-click the image, then click "copy image URL"), then click on the little icon of a tree that appears in the top bar of the text box, a box will open, paste your image's URL in the appropriate box and click Embed Image. The image should appear in your text.

When you are finished with your message, post it. Make sure to check back to see and comment on what your colleagues like. Then return to Orientation: Canvas and Syllabus Quiz to complete the multiple choice questions.
